Voice research in Belgium, Czech Republic, England, Finland, France, Italy, Hungary, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland. Distinguished international opera, oratorio, recital career. Tenor soloist with Knappersbusch, Ackermann, Ludwig, Sebastian, Slatkin, Lane, Szell, Boulez, etc.Chevalier/Officier, L'ordre des arts et des lettres (French Ministry of Culture decoration of honor), Doctor of Humane Letters; Otolaryngology Adjunct Staff, Cleveland Clinic Foundation; Collegium Medicorum Theatri; American Academy of Teachers of Singing; Prof/Director, Vocal Arts Center; Wheeler Professor of Performance, Oberlin Conservatory.
