Member Bio
Training: Westminster Choir College, The Juilliard School and Tanglewood. Enjoyed a career performing all aspects of vocal literature. Career highlights: the world premiere of Foss' Time Cycle, American premiere of Poulenc's Gloria, solo appearance for the opening of Lincoln Center's concert hall under Bernstein, a recital tour in Russia, recordings for Columbia, Decca, and RCA under Bernstein, Shaw, Szell, and others. As a voice teacher: SUNY at Stony Brook, Eastman School of Music, Aspen Festival, Manhattan School of Music (formerly Chair of the Voice Department).
